There is a 1000 character limit for comments, but there is no character count for the Comments box. This would be helpful to see so you know an additional comment should be created.

It would be really helpful to be able to choose if Markdown is enabled by default, so that it doesn't have to be changed for every caption. Being able to set a default for other settings would also be helpful (e.g., default navigation settings, default export settings) so they didn't have to be set for each guide.

If the interactive guide includes branches, the total step count can be inflated. It would be good to have a way to remove or edit the step counter on the annotation.

In addition to just images for each step, it might be interesting to create a GIF or video showing input filling or screen movement, rather than just static images. This makes the guide more dynamic and complete. You can now setup authentication for your help center and thus add private guides (in addition to public guides) to your help center and allow access via password

What do you think about a Markdown export feature? It could be very interesting...

This is currently only possible in the step-by-step editor.

The password restriction is cumbersome to keep up with for end users. It would be nicer if we could log our users in through a javascript from our site, thus both making it secure for users that we need to show the content to, but also not forcing them to keep up with a separate password.

Currently Guidejar records all clicks and automagically generates an interactive demo. But this means your scrolls, typing into input boxes cannot be shown to your users. With screen recording, you'll be able to insert video clips in between click steps which will give your users the whole picture
